Minter Gardens

Friday was a Pro-D day, so I packed up the kids and Grandparents and we headed in Minter Gardens. The weather was awesome I think the car-mometer read 26-27 degrees! The nice thing about Minter is there is lots of shade and lots of places to stop and rest. I think we wandered for around 4 hours. I came home with 340 images and Dad about the same. We picnicked in the gardens and stopped for ice cream on the way home. It was a great day!

Here is a small selection. I was a little tuliped out when we left. But they were all so gorgeous and I loved that there were varieties there that we didn't see at Skagit!

Kaylum put his hat on this way!

My three lovelies, eating. I think they snacked the whole way through the gardens.

The one puddle, Kaylum found!

Beautiful Kylie

Just after Keira smacked the gardener's bum!

Water drops from a fountain.

The lawn is gorgeous and lush, the girls couldn't resist a roll down the hill!

Fuzzy tulip

I want to call it a Fiddlehead but I am not sure if that is the right term. Its a fern.
