The girls' newest activity is Rock Climbing. Its a 4 week class at a local climbing gym that they take for an hour. Its really challenging for them but they are liking it!

Zoo
We spent a chilli afternoon at the zoo on Sunday. It was a beautiful sunny day but the chill was there for sure. The girls brought their bikes and had a blast riding around. Kaylum got out of the stroller for a bit and walked around. He loved that. He really loves the animals too. I took some great shots of my beautiful family, ENJOY!!
Priceless
Field Trip
Keira, Kaylum and I spent a cold, blustery and rainy Thursday on a field trip with Keira's pre-school class to the forest. I wasn't going to go, but I got a little guilted into it. So we had a walk through the forrest while the kids ran and explored the path. Luckily Jill was there so I had someone to walk and chat with!
This is the craft they made, a lovely bird feeder. Keira made one for Kylie as well. I put them in the tree out back and the little chickadees really enjoyed it.

BANNOCK!
On Tuesday I got to help out in Kylie's class making bannock. This isn't the kind of bannock I remember making as a kid at Scout Camp. This was GOOD! And really what kind of fried dough in margarine isn't? Delicious. I got wrangled into helping another class, so Keira got to make it twice. We brought this one home for Sean, but its not as good cold. The girls were pretty upset he didn't eat it!

My cuties
Kaylum likes to get up at the table when the girls have gone and scavenge what is left on their plate. On Sunday morning it was toast with nutella. I really think he hated it! LOL!
On Saturday we went and got our pictures with Santa taken. We haven't gotten them back yet, but here is what the kids looked like before we left. This was the best I could do with the 3 of them, Kaylum did not want to sit.

My reader
Kylie loves reading. She has really learned the bulk of her skills in the last couple months. Every night she brings home a new book to read at home and takes it back the next day. What a whiz she is! At the end of September she started at a level 3 and she is already up at level 8! This is the highest level in her class! I am amazed! She is even teaching Keira how to read!
On Friday she told me she got an award at assembly! She stood up in front of the whole school to receive a certificate for her awesome work at learning to read! We are so proud of her!

1. photogasm

When taking a picture with a digital camera, then immediately looking at the back of the camera and O-O-O-O, that was a good one! Usually with a jubilant O-face. http://www.urbandictionary.com

Hair Cuts for All!
There is nothing more that I hate than hair in my kid's eyes! And just when it seems you get their hair cut, its time again!
The girls love going for hair cuts. I am not sure if it is the treat the get after that has something to do with it but they have never resisted this event. Thankfully. Yesterday it was time for all 3 to get their hair cut. Keira has been telling me for awhile that she wants it as short as mine. And then Kylie told me that she wants her short too. I didn't want my love of their long hair to get in the way of their wishes but I did make sure that they were aware that once the hair is off, its off! They were both fine with it. The results are beautiful. It is a little weird to see the new dos so short, especially on Kylie. And Keira, well her hair was at the longest it had ever been and it took 4 1/2 years to get it there. But I love their new looks!
Kaylum also had a cut yesterday. It is is 4th hair cut in his short 13 months of life. This time it was a hair cut. Not a little off the bangs and the sides. He looks like a little man now. Sean really likes it, and I am still getting use to it. Its funny how attached I am to their hair. Much like I am my own I guess. But its just hair and it will grow, QUICKLY!

Kaylum before
Look how cute he is! Sitting in that chair like a big boy. He sat really well for most of the hair cut.
Kaylum after
Keira before
After (camera phone, sorry for the crappy quality)
Its not the best pic of Kylie, but you can see how long her hair was
WOW!!
I told Sean I can sleep for another 15 minutes now in the morning now that there is such short hair to do!

New Tricks
What is this 13 month old darling boy up to?
Well, this..................
Well, this..................
He seriously thinks he is a big kid, despite what I have told him!
He LOVES to climb! LOVES IT! This is quite often the scene in the kitchen. I have had to resort to putting the chairs on top of the table and removing stools and other chairs in other rooms. "UP!" is his new favorite word.
Facial treatments
Playing "KING" for his sister's sheer enjoyment!
Eating rocks! Nutritious and Delicious!
Chores!
Its never to early to start!

VeGaS!!!
This is at the Plazzo. It just opened this year. The fountain was so pretty, but for some reason they pumped perfume through the air, so it made it really smelly in there. We got out of there as fast as we could!
The Effiel Tower. Last time we were there we went up it. Which I recommend doing, especially at night, its SPECTACULAR! And cold! I love to take pics of this!
This is what you do a lot of when you are on vacation with a photographer. Atleast they have each other........
This is in the Bellagio. My favorite hotel in Vegas. Every season they change this display. Last time we were there is was decorated for Chinese New Year. This time it was a beautiful fall display. I can only imagine what it looks like at Christmas.
This isn't a great shot, there were so many people who kept walking in front of me. But that is water shooting over the path.
The Bellagio buffet. YUM YUM YUM!!
We met a lady who seemed to think I was pregnant and helped us bypass the line for the buffet (it would have been a good 2 hour wait) with her players card. She plays A LOT at the Bellagio. So we got this VIP pass to by-pass the line and only had to wait 5 minutes. I figured if it got me dinner faster, she can think what she wants! It was nice of her to help us out!
This is what you get when you don't empty your pockets before you jump in the pool! Didn't take long to dry. (it wasn't me!)
This is our star sighting paparazzi pic of Annalynne McCord she is on the new 90210 show, which I watch, so I thought it was kind of neat to see her sitting around the same pool as us!
Sean was teasing us about watching this tv actress. So we were hamming it up for him. LOL!
The beach is...that way!

Outside the Mirage
I love this shot, and the sun flare on the side of the building.
Dinner at the CHEESECAKE FACTORY! Last time we were in Vegas, it was an hour and a half wait, this time, 5 mintues. Its all about timing! It was soooooooo good. We all had salads......and then a huge piece of cheesecake, EACH!
We laughed A LOT!
The fountain outside the Wynn, where we didn't win. They were just building this last time we were there.
Here we are on the cab ride to the airport. Sean didn't hear us say "BE SAD!"
